About Me: Rachel Nelson

My path into counselling has been well considered and carefully undertaken. I care a great deal about my clients and feel humbled to join each and every one on their unique journey.

My person-centred training enables me to work with you at your own pace and style, ensuring that the sessions are comfortable and right for you.

Person-centred counselling is talking therapy, but more than that it is a time when you are truly heard and supported, wherever you are in that moment.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (www.bacp.co.uk). I abide by their ethical framework including an ongoing commitment to professional supervision. I also undertake regular professional development to broaden my own experience and to better understand my clients' needs. I hold full insurance for my practice and my counselling premises. I am happy to discuss any aspect of this on request.

My Practice: Equanimity Counselling

I work from a private room within my family home in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. It is spacious, relaxed and has plenty of natural light and fresh air. The practice has its own entrance to the rear of the house and private off-street parking.

Please note that there is no waiting area or facilities. To protect the privacy and anonymity of my clients I request that clients respect their appointment time.
